Did You Know That Oil Wells Affect Water Quality Around The Country?

High quality potable water is consistently being reduced across the United States by abandoned oil wells. There are approximately 32,700 abandoned oil wells around the country and a number of them are leaching oil, and in some cases gas, into ground water tables. This has resulted in municipal and private water supplies being contaminated with oil and gas residue; some people have reported that their water can be set on fire coming out of the faucet.
